Unimex Corporation is a small, disadvantaged business that provides product sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain services to both commercial and government customers. We believe in sourcing and supplying quality products at cost effective prices while providing superior, old-fashioned customer service.
In 2010 Unimex began its journey by manufacturing and selling tactical footwear to the public safety community. Due to the demand and our growth, over the years we have expanded to also offer uniforms, PPE, tactical equipment and aftermarket spare parts for the defense industry. We are honored to successfully serve DoD, DLA and other agencies through various contracts.

Our Past Projects
We are thankful for all the experience from the projects listed below and beyond. Read about some of our past experience.
In 2015, Unimex was awarded its first federal contract to deliver and distribute uniform footwear (boots and shoes) for a DoD agency with two locations (~ 100 miles apart) and over 800 officers combined. Unimex’s shoe truck visited both facilities multiple times to conduct on-site boot/shoe sizing services, along with ordering and delivery. The project required Unimex’s shoe truck and staff be on-site at various shifts (day, evening and night) for about 3 weeks to cater to the officers’ work schedules. The successful delivery of this project, as well as the end users satisfaction, led us to win the same agency’s uniform contract a year later.
In Fall 2016, Unimex was awarded its very first major 5-year contract with a DoD agency, supplying their head-to-toe uniforms and accessories, including Class A and Class B uniforms (shirts, pants, jackets, hats, and more) across more than 20 different leading manufacturer’s brands, to the agency’s 700+ officers. Unimex also provided on-site measurement and fitting, uniform alterations and decoration services, such as pants hemming, sewing patches/name tapes, embroidery, screen printing, and more. During this contract, Unimex had created, manufactured and stocked a substitute shirt for the agency due to the original manufacturer’s failed delivery. Unimex also caters to the agency’s rushed orders (less than a week delivery) and helped with streamlining their procurement in a more accurate, efficient and effective manner. Additionally, with a close vicinity to Unimex’s new retail store (Buffer Zone) transactions for the agency’s order pickups and uniform alterations are much easier. This contract has provided Unimex a stepping-stone to reach broader government contracting opportunities and paved the way for future growth.
In 2019 Unimex received a 5-year contract award to supply turn-key uniforms, accessories and duty gear to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing for their approximately 300 officers. The total number of unique items Unimex is responsible for managing supply and distribution exceeds 250 products across 30+ manufacturers in various industries, with thousands of SKUs (parts) in variations. Unimex also provides custom services, such as on-site measurement and fitting, uniform alterations, and more. This contract experience has further broadened Unimex’s expertise in supply chain management by leveraging our best commercial practice into a government logistics process in a greater magnitude, scale, and complexity.
In the summer of 2019, Unimex was awarded our first local contract for 1 + 4 years for our county’s Fire and Rescue department for head-to-toe Class A and Class B uniforms across over 10 different manufacturer brands to the agency’s 500+ officers. Aside from ordering shirts, pants, jackets, hats, belts and shoes, Unimex also provides on-site measurement and fitting, uniform alterations (hemming) and extensive decorations services, such sewing patches/name tapes/ranking braids, service stars and crosses and more. Unimex also caters to the agency’s rushed orders for alterations and delivers personalized service with bi-weekly pickups and deliveries to their office. We recently provided measuring services for a class of new recruits.
In the summer of 2019, Unimex was awarded this regional Georgia contract for 1 + 4 years for a county’s School Nutrition Services agency, providing uniforms for food employees at 141 schools in the metro Atlanta area. The agency orders 40+ items across 13 major manufacturer brands for various tops, bottoms, jackets and more for both men and women. Unimex also provides extensive decoration services; all tops need embroidery. Unimex helped the client streamline order input and offered detailed substitution ideas when manufacturers couldn’t deliver specific sizes/styles.
